About
FELAÇI was founded by two Pakistani siblings living in London, guided by the belief that true luxury begins with heritage and material integrity.
The house draws from two ancient traditions rooted in the region that shaped its founders. The earliest known evidence of leather tanning was discovered in Mehrgarh (current-day Pakistan) dating to 5500–4500 BC, a reminder that the transformation of hide into enduring objects has been practiced in Pakistan for millennia.
The name FELAÇI recalls Falasi, the vibrant hand-woven textiles once found in the noble homes of Sindh and Bahawalpur. Created entirely from memory by women working on wooden looms, these textiles transformed camel and goat hair into expressive compositions of colour and structure.
Together, these histories form the cultural foundation of the house.
Every FELAÇI piece is produced exclusively in Pakistan by artisans whose knowledge has passed through generations.
Leather is cut, stitched and finished by hand in small workshops where craft remains a discipline rather than a process of speed. The house works closely with these ateliers to preserve techniques that risk disappearing in an age of industrial production.
Each object carries the rhythm of human hands.
Made to Order
FELAÇI operates through small-batch and made-to-order production.
Pieces are created slowly and intentionally to avoid excess and to ensure that each garment receives the attention it deserves. For the house, sustainability begins with making fewer objects, but making them well enough to last decades.
FELAÇI works exclusively with leather and natural fibres. Linings are made from wool, silk and cotton, materials selected for their comfort and longevity.
Leather is one of the few materials that improves with time.
A FELAÇI piece is designed to be worn, lived in, repaired and passed forward. Through use it develops a patina unique to its wearer, gradually becoming more personal with every year.
Each garment carries a life of its own.
